This book is the latest comprehensive analysis of the drinking water in America. Not many people realize the dangers of drinking Tap Water and many others spend their hard earned dollars on Bottled Water hoping that what comes in bottle is safe and healthy.
The author has taken time to analyze data from different sources of information, collected latest and old test cases on quality testing on tap and bottled water and makes a compelling case for us to take another look at the safety of this drinking water in America.
This book creates a classic situation that represents how ignorantly we are drinking poison in water and putting ourselves and our families in danger without understanding the dangers of drinking tap and bottled water...
This book is very comprehensive and well composed. The author also reviews some of the more popular filtration methods and provides specific recommendations on how you can protect yourself and your family. This makes life much more easier for those looking for a good purification method to drink clean and healthy water.
This is alarming yet a great eye opener and highly recommended book for everyone to read and learn from! |

| What's In Your Water is an excellent, well written book by John Hinds. My father and I both had the pleasure of reading it and found the book to be an eye opener. The information prompted me to buy an eco-canteen water bottle and filter for the sink in my dorm. What's In Your Water makes for a quick read, and it's packed with powerful information on the steps you can take to ensure that your body is exposed to uncontaminated water that will keep you healthy and looking youthful. You will not regret purchasing this book. Also, check out Hind's website: [...]. While reading this book I was reminded of the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" by Al Gore. What could be more convenient than bottled water...on the other hand what could be more wrong than false or misleading labels? John Hinds has done the research for us and gives us the facts so we can make informed decisions.
What's In Your Water presents the reader with facts and figures that made me pause and take a second look at the amount of water I was drinking and where it was coming from.
"The lack of information about proper hydration is worrisome... it {water} is such an elemental requirement for good health"
It made me ask this hypothetical question...Imagine if we started paying attention to the effects of dehydration and made corrections to our diet with adequate water in-take, instead of prescription pills, would we be healthier, in body and our wallets?
John Hinds' commitment to community includes concern for the global community as well. This is demonstrated by donating 10% of the books royalties to Water Aid, a non-for-profit organization currently working in 17 countries in Africa and Asia to lift people out of poverty
John graduated from LSU (Louisiana State University) and follows in the giant foot-steps of Shaquille O'Neal (Basket Ball) and U.S.A Olympic track team members Muna Lee and Lolo Jones, noteworthy Lady Tigers
